Full Moon Forage and Sound Bath

May 19 @ 11:30 am - 3:00 pm

£35

Sunday 19 May 11.30am-3pm

  • Departing from: Home Farm SK14 6JP
  • Tickets £35 if purchased directly from Kindred Roots CIC

Prepare for the May Flower Moon by picking meadow herbs and flowers to make a nourishing tea, followed by a tranquil, healing Sound Bath.

Join Jen from Kindred Roots Community Interest Company and Alex from Holistic Healing MCR for a healing and relaxing full moon ceremony.

They will embark from Home Farm, in Mottram, for a two hour guided forage along local footpaths and the farm’s private meadows. As you gather flowers and herbs, you will learn about mindful and safe foraging, the many different uses of the natural resources all around us, as well as the history of the land you are walking. Allow yourself to unwind and reset, surrounded by breath-taking views, intriguing historic features and trees, and meadows, which our ancestors would have planted, walked, and foraged hundreds of years before.

The walk continues down to The Magdalene Centre – a beautiful, old former-church, where everyone will mindfully prepare a tea with the herbs collected, and enjoy a delightful homemade snack.

Taking advantage of the fantastic acoustics and ambience of The Magdalene Centre, you will all indulge in a soothing reiki Sound Bath, accompanied by gentle breathwork, expertly guided by Alex.
