BCA annual general meeting 2026

The 2026 Broadbottom Community Association AGM was held on Wednesday 3 June at 7pm.
What’s happening in your village?
We reviewed village activities, association finances, local issues and upcoming events… and elected trustees for the coming year. See the slides from the meeting .
Our Company Secretary has stepped down, as she is leaving the village, so we have a vacancy. In reality, the trustees work as a team on all roles but the formal requirements are below.
Trustee Vacancy
The charity secretary is primarily responsible for the smooth and efficient running of meetings of the trustees.
- Ensuring that formal documentation is filed with The Charities Commission.
- Formulating meeting agendas with the chair.
- Ensuring that an AGM is held and that arrangements are made for the election of trustees.
Volunteers
We’re always looking for help with running events. There are just six of us on the main committee and we definitely need more hands!
Please get in touch with us to find out more about the trustee and volunteer roles, with no obligation at all.
Annual membership donations
The BCA relies on your generous donations. We suggest £5 per household (more if you can). We collect donations at the AGM but you can donate at any other event or find details online at broadbottomvillage.co.uk/donation for how to donate by bank transfer or PayPal.
